Addressing global issues, Hatimoğulları criticised the inadequate international response to calls for ending the Israeli occupation of Palestine during Ramadan. She underscored the community’s desire for peace, advocating for a society where diverse groups can express and practice their cultural and religious identities freely. “We desire a new era to open its doors where peace, fellowship, and serenity are needed by all people and faiths living in this region,” she added.
Concluding her speech, Hatimoğulları reflected on the party’s recent electoral success and reiterated her wishes for the holiday to foster peace and fellowship. “With the success we have achieved, we once again celebrate this holiday with joy and look forward to opening new doors for dialogue and peace,” she said.
