A three-day hunger strike has been announced by Sebahat Tuncel, jailed Kobane trail defendant and former co-chair of the Democratic Regions Party on Monday. The strike intends to draw attention to the poor treatment of critically ill detainees in Turkish prisons.
The Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) entered and successfully cleared Diban the last stronghold of the armed groups resisting the SDF in the Deir Ez-Zor region of Syria. Commander-in-Chief Mazloum Abdi released a statement saying that security had been regained.
