ISIS, also known as the Islamic State, has claimed responsibility for the deadly double bombings that killed at least 84 people in the city of Kerman in the southeast of Iran on Wednesday.
Allegations of Hamas families’ relocation to Afrin have surfaced: The number of Palestinians settled in camps in Syria’s Afrin and Al-Bab is estimated to be in the tens of thousands, mainly from Gaza.
Vigils were held outside courthouses across Turkey demanding that those responsible for the death of more than 50,000 people caused by the February 2023 earthquakes be prosecuted.
In other news, The Iranian authorities refused to allow the Kurdish filmmaker Mansour Karimian to be buried in his hometown of Sanandaj following his death in a Turkish airstrike on North and East Syria on 26 December.
