🔸 At least 92 people were arrested in dawn raids across Turkey on Tuesday ahead of May Day protests in İstanbul’s Taksim square.
🔸 Pro-Kurdish Peoples’ Equality and Democracy (DEM) Party MP Gülistan Kılıç Koçyiğit has underlined that freeing Abdullah Öcalan is key for political progress in Turkey.
🔸 Lawyers and rights groups have issued joint call for Turkey to enact the Right to Hope and release Kurdish leader Öcalan who has served 26 years behind bars.
🔸 And in other news, the Kurdish-led Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) have freed two young men from ISIS captivity following abduction during the 2014 Yazidi Genocide.
