📍 An estimated one million people gathered in Istanbul’s Yenikapı Square on Sunday to celebrate Newroz, demanding freedom and democracy amid political upheaval.
📍 Newroz 2025 was celebrated across Kurdish regions and by the diaspora with fervour over the weekend, with Abdullah Öcalan’s message played to crowds in Diyarbakır (Amed).
