🔸 A delegation from the Peoples’ Equality and Democracy (DEM) Party met with Justice Minister Yılmaz Tunç today to discuss the conditions of imprisoned Kurdish leader Abdullah Öcalan and legal reforms.
🔸 French Foreign Minister Jean-Noël Barrot met with Mazloum Abdi and Ilham Ahmed of the SDF in Erbil (Hewlêr) on 23 April to discuss Syria’s political transition and France’s role in supporting Kurdish-led initiatives for regional stability.
🔸 An earthquake measuring 6.2 on the Richter scale struck Istanbul on 23 April, with more than 180 aftershocks recorded. AFAD warns of the possibility of further seismic activity and advises the public to remain cautious.
🔸 The Armenian Brigade commemorated the genocide centennial with a renewed call for resistance and remembrance.
