The Kurdish-led Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria reaffirmed its readiness to engage in dialogue with the Syrian government in Damascus.
Turkey’s National Defence Minister Hulusi Akar announced that a quadrilateral meeting between Turkey, Syria, Iran and Russia’s defence ministers and intelligence chiefs is expected to take place in Moscow on Tuesday.
Villagers in Ras Al-Ayn, an area in northern Syria near the Turkish border, protested ground work carried out by Turkish forces and proxies’ on land belonging to the Kurdish residents.
Political parties, rights organisations and politicians from Turkey and abroad have once again called on Turkey to confront and recognise the Armenian genocide.
