Serbia’s Supreme Court overturned for a third time lower court rulings for the extradition to Turkey of a veteran activist, human rights defender and fighter against ISIS.
Turkish border guards opened fire on a group of civilians attempting to cross the border from Syria into Turkey. One person was killed, and three others were wounded in the incident. The wounded individuals were quickly transported to a nearby hospital by local residents.
Bedran Çiya Kurd, co-president of the Department for External Affairs of the Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria (AANES), pointed out that the narrative surrounding terrorism in the Astana talks now aligns with Turkey’s interests, particularly regarding the Syrian Kurds.
Since 12 June, the Iranian forces have been conducting military operations against Kurdish parties in the Kurdistan province. These operations have not only led to increased tensions but have now resulted in devastating fires, according to the YRK.
