Kurdish community gathers in Paris to commemorate activists and demand justice in long-standing cases.
Iranian journalist Sara Masoumi, who investigated the death of 16-year-old Kurdish girl Armita Garawand, has been sentenced by an Iranian court to six months in prison and banned from practicing journalism for two years.
A court in Turkey has ordered Emine Şenyaşar to pay compensation to the former MP whose family members and bodyguards were involved in the killing of several members of her family in 2018.
Addressing the Turkish Parliament on Thursday, DEM Party MP Nevroz Uysal criticised the ongoing isolation of PKK leader Abdullah Öcalan and urged the government to acknowledge his role in resolving the Kurdish issue.
