Sixty MPs from Turkey’s pro-Kurdish Peoples’ Equality and Democracy Party called for an immediate end to the absolute incommunicado detention of Kurdistan Workers’ Party leader Abdullah Öcalan.

As the world marks International Day to End Impunity for Crimes against Journalists, four journalists face judges over their reporting in Turkey.
In addition to the others, Veteran journalist Tolga Şardan has been arrested over an article he wrote about corruption in a major court house, and the report Turkish intelligence prepared on the matter.
