President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan promised during an event on the campaign trail to continue Turkey’s cross-border operations in Iraq and Syria.
Turkey’s National Defence Minister Hulusi Akar responded to the chant of, “We will shoot at your command” from supporters by saying, “That time will come too, wait for it.”
Green Left campaigns have been attracting great interest, bolstered by the Peoples’ Democratic Party candidates running under their lists due to the threat of closure the major pro-Kurdish party faces.
A helicopter raid by United States forces in northern Syria early Monday resulted in the probable death of a senior ISIS leader, US Central Command announced.
