French left wing politicians and officials joined Kurds in a vigil for the 11th anniversary of the killing of three Kurdish women in Paris, condemning the confidentiality order on the case and the subsequent delay in achieving justice.
Internet attacks on individuals affiliated with Kurdish parties and groups are on the rise. Several individuals in Germany have received death threats from Turkish nationalists and Turkish cyber espionage group Sea Turtle having increased their hacking campaigns.
Art critic and painter Feyyaz Yaman, is one of many calling for a peaceful resolution to the Kurdish issue in Turkey, emphasising the need dialogue.
In other news, renowned Kurdish poet and academic Choman Hardi has been awarded the prestigious Franco-German Prize for Human Rights in Erbil, recognising her contributions to human rights and gender equality in Iraq.
