Syrian President Bashar al-Assad has accused Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan of trying to legitimise the “Turkish occupation” and supporting “terrorism” in Syria.
A woman and two children lost their lives on Tuesday as a result of Turkish artillery bombardment in the Raqqa Governorate in northern Syria, while one person was killed and another injured in a Wednesday airstrike in Iraqi Kurdistan.
Representatives of the Northern and Eastern Syria Freedom for Abdullah Öcalan Initiative and the Lawyers’ Union met with officials of the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights or OHCHR in Geneva, Switzerland on Wednesday.
And the Turkish Defence Ministry has reported the loss of six soldiers in clashes with the Kurdistan Workers’ Party during its Operation Claw-Lock in Iraqi Kurdistan’s Zap region.
