🔸 To mark Eid al-Adha, people across North and East Syria are visiting cemeteries to pay tribute to those who have fallen and to commemorate the Rojava Revolution. They are placing flowers on graves and lighting candles in memory of departed family members and friends.
🔸 Similarly, the pro-Kurdish DEM Party and the HDK Faith and Beliefs Commission released Eid al-Adha messages emphasising unity, democratic values, and shared struggle.
🔸 SDF Commander Mazloum Abdi reiterated his call for a return to the 10 March agreement in a statement issued via his official X account on 5 June, emphasising the importance of inclusive dialogue in building a democratic and pluralistic Syria.
🔸 And the renowned French philosopher Alain Badiou has sent a letter to the imprisoned Kurdish leader Abdullah Öcalan to express his support for Öcalan’s struggle for justice, freedom and truth, and to call for an end to his isolation.
