🔸 The Turkish government is under pressure from the Peoples’ Equality and Democracy (DEM) Party to bring the Kurdish peace process to parliament, amid warnings that ‘time is running out’.
🔸 A top EU lawmaker has joined a global campaign calling for peace in Turkey and direct access to jailed Kurdish leader Abdullah Öcalan.
🔸 Meanwhile, Kurdish groups have staged a mass demonstration in the east of the country demanding language rights.
