There has been one death and several injured in the clashes between Peoples’ Defence Units (HPG) and Free Women’s Units (YJA) and the Turkish army in the Lice district of Diyarbakır (Amed).
According to local sources, one soldier died and several soldiers were injured as a result of clashes in Lice.
According to footage revealed by Nuce Ciwan, soldiers’ bodies were taken to hospital via military helicopter.
Following the clashes and the assaults launched by the Turkish Army in Çağdaş (Cinezur), Dibek (Derxust), Arıklı (Hiseynik) and Bağlan (Mişirf), access to those villages has been closed by soldiers.
Villager have reportedly not been permitted to leave their houses.
According to other claims, Turkish soldiers raided the villages of Kerwas, Nenyas, Licok, Helhel, Mişrif and tortured the villagers. Villages have reportedly been encircled by armoured vehicles.
It has also been claimed that villagers have been threatened to death and two villagers were detained.
The Diyarbakır governorship has denied the claims.
