The Turkish state and its mercenaries under the name of the National Syrian Army (SMO) continue to attack Ain Issa (Eyn İsa) in North East Syria. Two civilians were reportedly injured in an airstrike carried out by Turkey.
The airstrike reportedly targeted the district centre of Ain Issa, the village of Hoshan and the M4 highway. According to ANF, 45-year-old Letîfa El-Şedad and 23-year-old Qusey Hesen were injured during the airstrike. The injured were transported to the district hospital.
Attacks began on 18 December
The Turkish state has been targeting Ain Issa since 18 December when Turkish-backed armed groups attacked the village of Mişêrifê in northeastern Syria. Toxar village in Manbij, Tell Tamer, and Zirgan are localities that have so far been subjected to attacks. The Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) have stated several times that they will resist attacks by using legitimate defensive tactics.
