A 12 year old boy named Saleh Khader Nasso and his grandfather, Khader Nasso, were reportedly killed after two missiles fired from a Turkish drone targeting the People’s Assembly building in the Sinun district of Iraq’s Sinjar region hit a shop next door. Six others were also injured in the shop, local media reports.
Most of the others who were injured were also children, and have been transferred to nearby hospitals in Mosul for treatment.
Since the start of this year, Turkey has already launched 41 drone strikes in the region, on-the-ground monitor Rojava Information Centre (RIC) reports.
