Democratic Kurdish Party Secretary General Cemal Şêx Baqî criticized the Kurdistan Democratic Party’s (KDP’s) military shipment to the border of Rojava. “The KDP helps Turkey’s Rojava oriented plan”, he said.
The KDP’s recent rebuilding of positions along the border of Rojava (Western Kurdistan) and its stationing of military forces along the border continues to be criticised by many Kurds.
Baqî, stated that “the attacks of the Turkish state in northern Iraq (Bashur) and Rojava cannot be justified. The most essential thing for the Kurds is national unity”. He added that “the Autonomous Administration and the Bashur administration should establish close relations. The purpose of these shipments, what happened behind the scenes, should be explained. The Kurdish people are worried about these developments and they expect an answer”.
