The Peoples’ Democratic Party (HDP) have announced an attack against its offices in the eastern Muş (Mûş) province, saying unknown assailants had attempted to set the building on fire on Tuesday evening.
The party flags were set ablaze in the hopes that the building would catch, branch co-chair Savcı Arslan told Mezopotamya Agency.
While the building did not suffer great damage, the assailants managed to get away. HDP Muş has pressed charges.
On Monday, a chief advisor of the Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan said that the Constitutional Court would approve the shut down of the Peoples’ Democratic Party.
