From time to time racist attacks are carried out in Turkey against the HDP buildings. On 17th of June an armed assailant stormed the HDP building in Izmir province of Turkey and killed a woman official Deniz Poyraz.
On the 28th of December, again, an armed assailant in Istanbul, Turkey, made a failed attempt to storm an office of the HDP and was detained only as the police arrived after a long wait.
