A journalist for the Kurdish ANHA news agency has reported that two civilians have been killed after a car was targeted by an aerial attack near the village of Khazalik, in the Cizîr (Jazira) canton of North and East Syria.
There is currently no news about the identities of the civilians.
Turkish aerial attacks on North and East Syria are common, and civilians are often killed. On 28 August, Xalide Mihemed Şerif (45) and her son Hejar Ednan Silêman (24) were killed in the Turkish drone strike in the Al-Antariya (Enteriye) neighbourhood of Qamishli.
In September, Turkey was criticised by the United Nations and Human Rights watch for targeting civilians and civilian infrastructure in North and East Syria.
