Demonstrations were held in Frankfurt and Saarbrücken in Germany as part of the “We will defeat fascism together” campaign, launched by Europe Unity of Democratic Forces (ADGB).
Turkey’s withdrawal from the Istanbul Convention and the oppression of the Peoples’ Democratic Party (HDP) were protested during the march.
A press statement took place in Hamburg city. European Kurdish Democratic Societies Congress co-chair Yüksel Koç spoke during the action and stated that everyone suffered oppression in Turkey, before criticising the assaults on the political opposition.
In addition, actions took place in Hannover, Stutgart, Darmstadt, Düsseldorf, Saarbrücken, Hamburg and Berlin.
