An explosion followed by gunfire erupted today at the entrance of Turkish Aerospace Industries (TUSAŞ) in Ankara’s Kazan district, leading to an immediate response from special operations teams and firefighters.
In a press statement, Interior Minister Ali Yerlikaya confirmed that two attackers, a man and a woman, were killed during the incident. The explosion and subsequent gunfire left four more people dead and 14 others injured, with three victims reported to be in critical condition.
Yerlikaya noted that investigations are ongoing to establish the identity of those involved and to determine which group may be responsible for the attack. Further updates will be provided as more information becomes available.
