Wissam Al-Omar, the spokesperson of the Tell Abyad Military Council made a statement and shared some statistics regarding the latest Turkish attacks, reported Hawar News Agency.
Al-Omar said Turkey had increased its attacks in the countryside around Tell Abyad and Ayn Issa as attacks on this area of northern Syria were aimed at occupying these zones and forcibly displacing the civilian population.
“Since August, 412 attacks using all kinds of heavy and light weapons plus 2 drone attacks were carried out” said Wissam Al-Omar.
“As a result of the attacks, besides the property of citizens, service institutions such as Fatisa and Hîşa fresh water stations were also targeted and damaged.
In addition, as a result of targeting the power lines, the electricity supplied to the region was also cut off” added al-Omar.
Wîsam El Omer stated that the Tell Abyad Military Council forces responded to the attacks and foiled the attempt by the Turkish forces to infiltrate around the village of Mişêfre.
