“The Turks are preparing for a new push into Syria in an attempt to expand the occupation down to Aleppo and to shed more of the blood of the Syrian Kurds. It is only a matter of days before they will launch a new attack in Rojava, distracting Russians’ attention,” writes Ahmet Kahraman for Yeni Özgür Politika.
The Russian media including the Russian news source RIA Novosti are discussing these plans. But on the news, they do not reveal what the Russians have taken in return for the land and lives of the Kurds, because the Russians and Vladimir Putin, who came to Syria claiming that they only came to “help” have become the hegemonic master of Syria. They are the ones who pull the strings of Turkish expansionism.
Putin, had previously been responsible for the security in Afrin, but he opened Afrin airspace to Turkish war planes in return for $3 billion (S-400 missile system) and the construction of the nuclear power plan.
And now it’s Azaz and Marea’s turn after Afrin. A deal must have been done, the trade deal must have been completed as Novosti news do not mention Putin’s decision or attitude towards the issue.
According to Novosti, Erdoğan will see US President Joe Biden and then launch simultaneous coordinated attacks. (….)
The Turkish army has been both playing the “good saviour” since 2012, chanting “We don’t have an eye on someone else’s land,” and “We are only there for good” while at the same time occupying the land of two countries, Syria and Iraq. Even appointing administrative officials to posts in their lands and displacing the locals.
As the Turkish military keeps doing so, they keep chanting, “There are Kurds here, we are going to kill them,” almost they are doing a favour to someone! Their voices echoing in the earth of the occupied lands from years ago remind me of Hitler’s; that voice, which was the voice of cannibalism was also committed to destroy an entire race of people.
The first aim of the Turkish military operation will look like it is to target the jihadist terrorists nurtured by Turkey, in Idlib. (ISIS leader Baghdadi was also using here as his headquarters). But this attack against jihadists will be only for show, just because Putin has asked for it. This is such a game that is only played so that people will think Turkey is fighting against Islamic terrorism. (…)
As they do what they intend to do accompanied by the slogans of racism, the world just keeps watching, watching it from afar.
The United Nations and its gendarmerie, the Security Council has just begun to raise their voice, but they don’t tell Turkey to stop. China, a permanent member of the UN Security Council, just says, “Turkey is an occupying force in Syria,” but they they do not apply any sanctions as such for the racist slaughter committed by Turkey in Syria.
With the cover story of declaring war on his beheading brothers in Idlib, Recep [Tayyip] Erdoğan develops his plans to attack the Kurds while lulling the world to sleep. By slaughtering the Kurds, Turkey invades Syria and settles there more and more each day.
According to the Russian media, Erdoğan will give its army the order to “hit the Kurds” after the meeting with US President. With armies built from the defenders of ISIS, they will enter Azaz and Marea, where refugees from Afrin live. It looks like Putin has given the permission.
When I watched a speech made by the Turkish defence minister Hulusi Akar, I saw him grinning like a cheshire cat; he was so happy like a wolf who smelled the blood; his eyes were shining when he said, “Our target is northern Syria.”
Then he went on:
“We have and will never let any instance of any organisation on our borders, under our nose. This is our sole aim.” (…)
I don’t know if the world will allow innocent people to be massacred and their homeland to be occupied just because someone wants to play the role of conqueror of primeval times and indulge in racist hysteria with the blood of Kurds on their hands.
But what I do know is that this war will mean so much more blood and tears.
Like all those innocent occupied people in the world, this people, [the Kurds], shall defend their homelands with their honour and dignity against the barbarians.
Do not cry my homeland
Cemal Taşkesen, who said, “Our language is denied, our identity is denied, Kurdistan is denied,” responding to Meral Akşener, who went to Siirt begging for votes from the Kurds, was handcuffed and detained by the police.
Don’t you cry the captivated Kurd! Cemil is your dignity. Raise your head up and stand tall behind your dignity…
